Victor is a video installation in Barcelona. It's an electronic trompe d'oeil and pretends that water is leaking from a painting. Puddles on the floor and spacial audio add to the illusion. It's virtually impossible to distinguish the projected water from real water due to its motion and its simulated reflection of the environment. It's achieved by projection mapping onto walls, floors, and a painting from the thrift store. The water assets were all created in-house, using classic commercial cinematography techniques. I assembled the final work to be modular so it could be performed on any wall with any painting at reduced effort. As such it's ready to travel to art galleries or establishments that prefer fake puddles...
